Accessibility
The Lilu is barrier-free. The tour is possible for people with limited mobility with a slight route adjustment. Please note that the alleys and squares in the Old Town are mostly made of cobblestones and assistance may be required. There are also two disabled toilets available, which can be used with the Eurokey. In some indoor installations, reserved areas for wheelchair users are marked. From 6 to 16 January 2022, Lucerne will once again become a luminous meeting place! At the 3rd Lilu Light Festival Lucerne, artists from all over the world will present the diverse and fascinating facets of light. Discover creative light installations on a heart-warming winter walk and experience an attractive supporting programme for all the senses. For eleven days, squares, sights and alleys in the city of Lucerne will be artistically illuminated from 6 to 10 p.m. every day.
2G RULES and COMPULSORY MASKS for indoor installations and light shows
Admission to the light show in the Hofkirche, in the Casineum and to the indoor light installations in St. Peter’s Chapel, in the Meilihalle and in the Raiffeisenbank is only permitted for visitors with a valid COVID certificate (vaccinated, recovered). Wearing a mask is also compulsory. For the guided Lilu tour, 3G (vaccinated, recovered, tested) applies. The COVID certificate is only valid together with an official ID (to check your identity). Kids under the age of 16 don’t need any certificate.
No certificate is needed to visit the light installations in the city. However, please follow the hygiene and behavioural rules of the Confederation. We recommend wearing a mask if there are a lot of visitors.
